    The Season is Over?

not mathematically perhaps, but and I thought this bck in February, we have a very slim chance of making the playoffs and looking at our remaining games can't see that we will get the points required.

Not a bad thing IMO, gives us a chance to start preparations for next season early, rather than chase an illusion which will see Villa promoted.

Not a bad first season in management for Lampard, for a rookie he has done as well if not better than Rowatt and certainly no worse than other experienced managers we have had.

Hopefully with some wise permanent signings and 2 or 3 good loans we can make a decent challenge for promotion next year.

I hope you are right. It's all in the balance so he needs to get it right or we'll be even worse.
