Indeed Barrhead, get yourself to Dunterlie, you’ll enjoy the banter.

Obviously differing ages but I played for the same boys club as big Red, our current coach, amongst a few others that went on to play professional........women, culture and glue sniffing put myself off on a tangent though.

Lornshill Academy in Alloa, Clackmannanshire. I am a fair bit younger than Hansen but went to the same school. One of my pals stayed very close to Hansen’s gaff in Sauchie.

I have a free weekend in May. Got the wee man too. May just head to Dunterlie. Never realised Athurlie are on of the oldest juniors. 1874 (Vale of Clyde the oldest 1873)

You’ll be made very welcome, quite a few folk I know kicked a baw for them, as I said Central Cafe is brilliant ......300 yards away........The Brig 100 yards away is owned by a really good pal of my dad.......since you are keen on memorabilia, it is worth your while to go in and have a look at all the old photos of past Barrhead men in fitba, tbf........some might be there,if you pick a game, Neilston is only 2 1/2 miles away and Pollock only about 5 1/2 .......dependant on Fri/Sat kick offs.

I was never a member of the wee county club but know a couple of folk who were. I was a member of the Stirling Reds for a few years then joined the Perth club. Only stopped being in the supporters clubs the last couple of years due to the new ticketing system.
We maybe haven’t met Aldo.....pity, you cannot beat a good debate.
Good on your old man for setting up the supporters club.
