Surprised Ward is on the bench, would have liked to see Etete on the bench instead.

    So 5-3-2 again?

I thought we weren't playing Ward because of his contract clause? If that's the case why is he on the bench? What's the point?

So looking at this we're going all out for a point and hoping to nick one somewhere? I hope I'm wrong but I can't see this line up achieving anything, most of them are tried and tested failures this season already.

So in one of the most must-win games in our history, we line up with five defenders, three hard-working midfielders, and two veteran strikers. OK then.

I guess this means we are playing wing-backs, which is great if that actually means having five in midfield going forward. But we all know that this can easily turn into a flat back five with zero outlets. Big move by Ardley, but hey, we were saying we needed to try something different.

Will it pay off? Doubt it, but we'll see.

After getting the marbles moving in the old brain box, Ward has scored some good goals for the reserves in resent games, maybe Ardley is thinking to bring him on late in the game if a winner is needed.

Yes its odd as it is pretty much certain he was left out due to his contract.

He may have done a Duffy and changed his contract or took the clause out.
