Is this 3-5-2? It looks a mess.
    Bartley
    Dawson
    Adarabioyo
Not too promising that trio, though they got through on Friday. Gibbs, Philips and Gayle to come off the bench and rescue us maybe.

This is weak management and falls into the “giving everyone a game to keep them happy” ethos!

Obviously Gayle needs a “rest” after three consecutive matches of goal hanging in which he’s scored six goals and he’s in the middle of his hottest ever spell.

Meanwhile Field is back in having been discovered locked in a cupboard for weeks.

No sign of Edwards who has now taken Field’s place in aforementioned cupboard.

Gibbs,Phillips,Gayle and Brunt should all have been in today imo.

The only possible explanation is that “we” believe we are already in the play offs and that we’re not bothered which place we finish in.....maybe the master plan is to finish sixth and avoid Villa and lose to Leeds instead.

After two more fantastic balls from Brunt vs Hull I don't like to see him on the bench, he is directly responsible for so many of our points.

But how many times have we seen poor sides on paper play really well on the field.

Perhaps the coaches realise the strengths and weaknesses of the older players, Shan was due a draw and the fact that they played it out is a plus.

I'm with you on this one glm. We're in the play-offs, almost certainly v. Villa so why not rest a few players. Surely, it's better to have our stongest side for the play-offs than for the last two games that mean very little. They've played a lot of games of late so resting individuals will do no harm in my opinion.
