My thoughts for the play offs.

Whoever loses out on automatic, which as it stands will be either Leeds or Sheffield utd, I think their disappointment will affect their mentality for the play offs. That leaves West brom ,Villa and one other. With all the hype about Villa and West brom show downs it wouldn't surprise me if neither went up. The moment anyone starts making assumptions in this division it almost always breaks apart. Its been that kind of season.

In many ways I feel that the pressure is on Villa as they appear to be most people's favourites to go up via the play-offs. It looks as though Leeds will miss out on the automatic place and often the side who finish third fail to gain promotion. It isn't clear who will take the final play-off place and to be honest, it could be either Derby, Bristol or Middlesbrough, although I don't really fancy the latter. I'd have preferred not to play Villa but it is what it is and we have as good a chance as anyone.

Honestly over 2 legs I am confident we will beat whoever it is we play, be it the baggies or not. We've got 2 hard games left so it may be Leeds.

The final is a complete lottery tho. Remember zamora and his 1 shot all game that took QPR up at Derby's expense?

Whoever goes up needs to spend big and build a PL team that doesn't get embarrassed every week

Sick to death of hearing the word momentum. Its like if we don't have momentum that's it. It's all over.
Last time we were in this position uf memory serves me correctly we won our last league game 7. We then beat the Dogheads twice. Momentum got us nowhere.

Playing the correct team, in the correct formation, playing the correct way. We can beat any of the four teams around us momentum or not.

We are absolutely correct to rest key players.

Fairly sure it's a myth that the team finishing 3rd usually miss out and in fact they have the best record.

Whicka - what would be your best team as feel it will be the same as mine? I am in two minds though to bring in Bond especially next game as Johnstone worries me ****less!

Any of the four teams will be confident of beating each other. With the squad at West Brom - on the day, we should be able to beat anyone if we click! Villa have two/three decent players ie Mings, Grealish and Abraham but the rest are very average at best. Average just like that crap keeper Johnstone we now have!

Chester is very average and an average championship player at best! Lets hope Grealish does not go to ground like a cheating Italian!!!

McGinn is also a very decent player who compliments Grealish very well.

I don't fear the Vile so much as I look forward to knocking them out, but I do respect what they can do.

Any team capable of ten (+) consecutive wins at this level is worthy of that respect.

I'm currently very much looking forward to the play offs.
