2013 wasn't as bad a relegation as this, none were apart from possibly Jim Duffy one at Livvy. They have scunnered the fan base. As I've said there are only so many kicks the bas you can take afore you drop till your knees and say no more.

I'll be grateful they hang about IF they actually achieve something tainted. Death by comic cuts under Dfcss or death by a thousand cuts under captain pugwash is still death....just a different type of exit.

This relegation is 3 seasons in the making, 2005 was a real boot in the stones as Dundee should have been nowhere near the bottom with only one win required post-split which Duffy couldn't deliver. 2013 relegation would have meant the end of DFC if FPS hadn't persevered and eventually taken over. Think you need to remember that McCann and McIntyre both received a lot of backing from FPS and the fans. The blame has to lie with them for the most part just as it did with Duffy

There is nothing wrong with a football club having a fans majority ownership.
Motherwell FC with a majority fans ownership is a well run club despite a small core support.

Islay, you know perfectly well that Motherwell is in a completely different situation from ourselves. They have backers who are making substantial support available to the club and they have had some success in cup competitions. Both of these are significantly different to the situation we would find ourselves in if fan based ownership was the option that FPS chose to take if they decided to withdraw from our club.

You will also have read in the Motherwell Football Club Limited annual accounts that the previous directors have to be repaid over a period of time subject to income from player sales, Cup runs etc. It is up to these directors whether they accept or decline these repayments for the good of the club.
