    Good news for next season

Statistics say that 44% of all teams promoted to the EPL are relegated the next season.

That means, with any normal luck, we just need to finish above 2 teams next year with one of the promoted teams already doomed.

That makes it a tad easier and saves us a bit on unnecessarily transfer fees.

Thanks Mike for the email and heads up.

but in what, and over what time frame - heeler ?....and is the next season, the same season or the following ?

If Bardsley and Ward are released and Defour stays on his sick bed, we really will need to splash some cash.

    Over to you Mike...

After every team had played 19 games (half of the season) we had 12 points and things looked dire.

Since then we have got 28 points from 16 games.

If the season had started after Christmas we would be FOURTH in the league.

And, amazingly, only Man City and Liverpool have scored more goals than us.

We basically have a bloody good team.

We are in good hands - stop bitching and try to enjoy being a Burnley supporter during our Prem adventure because it won't last forever.

No reason whatsoever the EPL run can't last 1959_60. We have had a fair amount of (well deserved IMHO) luck injury and suspension wise since Christmas it must be said.

Our present starting First Eleven will give almost any team a proper game, my real concern is the lack of genuine quality in depth in the squad. Midfield is woefully short of numbers and we must bring in two new full backs as cover. In addition Barnes and Wood only have Vydra and Agyei to back them up, assuming Couch goes.

We seem to have got the woeful Leicester and Newcastle displays out of our system, next season will bring a whole rash of new problems to solve and a few reinforcements would come in mighty handy!

I hope recruitment wise Garlick, Rigg and Dyche are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

    Evening Sinkov. (Pike O'Blisco yesterday)

There is a subtle difference between moaning and bitching.

Moaning is just complaining about stuff in general.

Bitching is moaning about a particular person or thing.

Ladies bitch when they don't get a new pair of shoes or a handbag every month and call you a tight arse.

Quite a lot of bitching on this board.

I see the majority of Criticism as Constructive....so wouldn't be so Negative as to Park the Bus on it...that - would be Bitchy.
