Outside of the champions and the 3 play - off sides Queens are the highest scorers in the league (so far) but we would have been down weeks ago without Stephen Dobbie's goals 21 out of the 41 scored which is a sad reflection on our other alleged strikers.

If ever anyone summed up our lack of striking options - apart from Dobbs- then last night Lyndon Dykes was the man. Done brilliant to get ahead of the defender and one on one with Scott Fox. Hesitated and defender got back to nick it away from him. F@@@ing unreal !

He will probably go to Livi and start banging them in. Got to say , Lyndon Dykes has been a real powerhouse for Queens and gave us everything he has. Would be nice to see him do some damage to Thistle next week in his last game for us. Good luck to the big man as well .

Dobbie returning for the crucial final game of the season will be a massive boast for the club. The only concern I would have is if he is so single minded on achieving the scoring record that he may try to take on every opportunity himself that comes his way rather than play in better placed team mates to the overall detriment of the team. Bit of a catch 22 for the maestro but he always seems to have the clubs interests at heart.
