    Yes those are the recommendations from a House of Lords committee report.

    A report generated by a set of unelected duffers that actively tried to block brexit.

    I would however accept the proposals if they also scrapped the House of Lords daily attendance allowance and ended the duty free bar perk they have there.

    Chances of that happening?

    About the same as us winning the Premiership and Champions League

    Life isn’t fair never has been never will be this will happen nothing at all to do with Brexit Pensioners can I expect significant reduction in the benefits before too long

    As long as any reduction is means tested and the poor don't lose out then fair enough.
