    Rev.Dr.Jimmy Martin

    James Martin, product of Dalziel Public School and Dalziel High School has just died in his nineties. A very highly regarded clergyman, he was 'Well through and through - the club chaplain for a number of years - and his obit. in the 'Herald' showed him sitting in Fir Park. The club has lost one of its best pals.

    Yes, a sad loss. I believe he often used to train with the players.

    I never met him but was aware of his life long support of everything connected with the club. Always sad to lose a fan.
