    Championship clubs are allowed to lose up to £39m over a three-year period.

    That equates to 26 players on 10k per week for 3 years

    For a club that is relegated from the premiership with all of the parachute money it gets is quite remarkable because they will have players on 3 times that.

    Aston Villa have lost £40m this year so if they don't get into the Prem then they should be docked points thus won't be able to reach the premiership and will never be able to get that money back.

    Frog, that will never happen as royalty is involved. Don't forget Wills is a villa fan! They will probably lose their points next season so as not to disrupt this season's attempt to gain promotion. Should they fail, then expect the points to come off straight away, such is the corruptness in football today. Either way Villa will be given all the help they can muster.

    I think maybe there’s a need to write two forms of rules on point deduction for rule breaking depending on who you are to which rule applies to you

    Also certain clubs need to get some bottle and stand up and be counted
