Wouldnt be surprised one bit if we took the easy route out and not be the one who are responsible for relegating another team. However, would be interested to see what would happen if QotS went on a goal spree tonight!

League finalized tonight and Falkirk gone tomorrow should be what happens with the important fringe players in Sow, Stanton, Bouhenna and Nesbitt getting game time. With the pressure off, i hope the players put on a show before the nitty, gritty returns.

I'd rather not rest players unless bookings or niggling injuries make it sensible.

We need to keep firing. We also need Sow to step up as we will need him in the games ahead.

    Come on United!!

I think keeping the momentum going is the most important thing and - hopefully - we can score a couple of goals and keep a clean sheet. The team appear to be starting to gel and we don't want to stop that by fannying around with the formula too much.

It's also very tight down the bottom of the table, so we have a duty to give every game our best shot.

So, over to you Dundee United!

The bigger team with the bigger support would never do that. And thats nothing to do with Shedkaesque statistics!

Thought that was good today until we were 2 up and started to slowly take the foot off the gas, although the result was never in doubt after we scored. How the hell their keeper kept 3 shots out i will never know!

Siegrist had his best game so hope he has a stinker next week and comes back stronger.
Watson solid enough and maybe should have scored.
Booth solid enough again and should have burst the feckin net!
Reynolds strolled it then started switching off.
Bouhenna was my MotM for the first half hour and the best ive seen him.
Robson another who might have scored. Seemed to be given the right to roam in the second half and might be the next thing to add to his game.
Harkes when he is bad seems to be getting worse by the game, but then there was a pass into the box first half that was sublime!
Butcher is exactly what we have been missing and took a booking.
McMullan 3 in 3 now. Cant help but wonder what could have been if RN had arrived in the summer.
Sow has to start scoring soon or its next season already!
Safranko worked his ass off again.

Clark i thought was more energetic than normal.
Stanton at times showed how he can be important for us and really should have scored after his mazy!
Chalmers is far from the finished product, but there is something there. Hope he has developed enough to be kept.

Agree with all of this. First half was excellent and should have been more than two up. Second half was awful by comparison. We gave the ball away cheaply with some awful passing and created more problems for ourselves than Falkirk were capable of causing us by themselves. Thought the ref was awful and let Falkirk away with a lot of niggly stuff. Anyway three points was the aim and anothe win under the belt to keep momentum going.

Ref was poor, but really should have booked Reynolds for a rugby tackle. Think he had decide by that time that enough cards had been shown and both teams were as bad as each other!
