I think Barker was talking about the transfer of a footballer

That's a bit harsh Gristy.
He was getting some decent reviews when he played for Carlisle so I think there's a place for him as a pro footballer.
He's a lot better than I ever was so good luck to him if he goes to div two again

I think it was the rule about having to have home grown players in the match day squad. I assume as an insurance policy against Wiles becoming injured or ill which I think he did for a few games
