Anyone watch Sheff Utd vs Ipswich?

It was interesting actually. Ipswich are going down with a really good set of young players. Loads actually.
Lambert has many faults, but on spotting a very good player, was something I always felt he was good at. He brought some good ones in his time with us.
Of all the players that Shrewsbury manager brought in, not one of them actually made the grade. That lad we had been linked with from Bristol Rovers than the experts on the LET felt we had lost out on. £750k he cost. He has barley featured.

So Lambert has had to bring in almost a whole new side. I was actually pretty impressed with them, considering the relative age. More than with Sheff Utd who have way too much to add to stay in the Prem for more than 2 mins. If they get 5 wins next season, I will be shocked.
Ipswich had a blonde haired lad in midfield who reminded me of Brooks who has looked excellent for Bournemouth this season, who was signed from Sheff Utd a year ago. Only very young, but plays in that number 10 role. But looks way more effective than say Dack. As this lad didn't blow hot and cold. And he is a kid. I need to try find out his name. I was very impressed. They had about 4. I did wonder if we shouldn't be tracking these lads? Ipswich will come back stronger after a year down in Div1 exactly like us. They have great support, a very decent manager for that level, and seem o have a great young squad. They will come back a better side.

I have a lot of Ipswich connections, Champs. They are quite upbeat about next season. They will have to be careful, though. As we found out in our first few D.1 games, you can't afford to play TOO much "pure football", because you just get kicked off the park!
I think the Ipswich lad you mentioned is Teddy Bishop.
