    Dara O' Shea

Another of our promising youngsters being tracked by Palace and Bournemouth so the question is why have an academy just for other clubs to step in and sign them.

Why don't we give them a contract

Didn't know that lets keep him then and the other good academy players and tie them down to the club

Isn't there some poxy rule that allows clubs with similar academies to ours. That allows them to poach your youngsters and they only have to pay a measley level of compensation?

I'll be surprised if Harper signs a contract

Harper needs to up his pace a bit if he wants to play at a higher level. An obvious talent on the ball but pace exposed off the ball.

Pretty sure his contract expires on May 31st Lloyd.

If so then we'd only be entitled to age related compensation as opposed to a full on transfer fee.

His contract may stipulate a twelve month extension in the club's favour but I genuinely have no idea on that one.

If he goes, and there is little we can do to stop him, then he will probably join the list of players ex promising sat on their backsides watching games on a Saturday rather than playing!
