    Shirt Draw winner

    for next season are B and B Body Repairers (Tam Beattie) who if I remember correctly won once before in 2006

    Does anyone know who Queens first ever shirt sponsors Barralan were based and what they sold ?

    Never noticed that sponsor before. Always thought Elopak was the first.

    Thought that Barralan was the shirt manufacturer rather than an actual sponsor as they were a Leicester based sports clothing company.

    Barralan's name was on the shirt in 1981 but in 1977 Queens turned down Bukta because they thought it would spoil the look of the jerseys (see Through the Lens - QOS book published by the Ewart Library).

    Hadn't realised that Elopak were shirt sponsors for seven years. Imagine what kind of money that deal could bring in nowadays!
