Your comparison is stupid and embarrassing, if we had drawn at Dens in May 1983 then we would not have won the league, it was a last day decider that we had to win and we did, if we won at dens in May 2016 we'd have still been relegated within a week or so, had we drawn we'd have still been relegated that night, we needed to win to avoid mathematical relegation but at that stage it was already over anyway so the Wighton goal didn't relegate us either on the night or mathematically, it simply won you the match, a match that we needed to win, a 1-1 draw was enough to see us "doon"

    Happy to help
Oh it did and you know it...relegated by 8 points and we took 8 points from you..

If this glory is all you Dees have to hold onto I genuinely feel sorry for you. It must hurt a lot. The bad news it's going to get even worse.

Ach, we should leave them be. In years to come, they can always put on their ‘Doon’ specs and jizz off to memories of Wagner, Tangerine coffins and ‘relegating’ United. It’s no like they’ve anything else to ‘celebrate’.

In all my years supporting United since 1963 I can't recall the Dees being this bitter and twisted. Tormented. They've seen United grow into the city club, win trophies, and compete at the highest levels in Europe. Can't be easy to handle but some of them are making an erse of it.
