    Managers

I wanted the previous two managers punted can’t deny that , but.....
This absolute ****ing clown is the worst yet , listened to him before game where he referred to us as Dundee and not ‘us ‘ and listened to him after game where he tried to blame previous managers for this abomination and I’ve never ever hated a manager as much as this imposter
His team selections then subsequent subbys are beyond any words , empty this **** immediately and anybody else that’s been involved with him and any previous regime and start with a completely clean slate
I might then be able to go back to dens and support MY team!!!!

Despite his failings as a manager I think most Dees still have a soft spot for Neil McCann, I think the club could probably have done more to help Hartley, perhaps too supportive in the wrong way, in hindsight interfering to help may have worked better. It was time for both to go, but good memories also of each.
McIntyre, no good will, no happy memories. He got fantastic backing from FPS who bankrolled the replacement of an admittedly poor squad, he replaced them with worse.

    Terrible manager, just awful

The lack of an emotional connection between FPS and Dundee has cost us all, to be speaking about an annual review after today to decide McIntyre's fate, just phukk right off. The fans made their feelings clear today, what does Nelms need to understand the situation.

Analytics - US sports are dominated by them. Baseball is all about batting averages on base percentages and pitching earned run average. NFL it is all about yards per carry, yards after catch, quarter back ratings, interceptions and sacks. That is why they have come up with the management criteria.

They are trying to do the right thing by making business not emotional decisions, that is a sensible approach, but they have the criteria wrong.

Hartley, at the time was an excellent appointment, fresh ideas, enthusiasm, clear upward trend, unfortunately when he reached a plateau there was not the experience in the club to help him. A DOF would have helped avoid his burn out and loss of confidence.

McCann had no such positive record and so was a much riskier appointment. He was an idealist with ideas out of date. Arsenal, Barcelona etc. Do not play that patient build up anymore as tactic evolved.

McIntyre fitted the criteria for a bang average manager, over 40% wins, but dig a little deeper and win percentage was inflated by lower league wins. He was previously sacked by both Ross County and Dunfermline when struggling in the top league.

Worse still he wears brown shoes with a dark suit, that is just wrong.

Hartley got help, help with experience. Especially when his confidence was a bit low. He just wasn’t up to it
