Just like to add that being sacked by phone call is a cowardly way of doing things. Hewitson needs to hang his head in SHAME.

Hewitson is no mug. I got told by a Lochmaben guy that knows Billy very well that Hewitson had approached Naysmith early in the season - when things were going very well- about signing a contract extension. Naysmith had shrugged him off , obviously not wanting to tie himself in if a bigger job came around. Near the end of the season the boot was on the other foot. Naysmith came knocking on Hewitson's door about another contract and Billy had said ( words to the effect of) I dont think so , we dont know what league we will be in.

JR I heard this exact same story about two months ago from a different source where the circumstances had changed and the boot was firmly on the Queens foot rather than Naysmith's after the disastrous losing streak. Just another indication as to how fickle the nature of football is these days and for sure social media speculation only adds to this. Anyway lets hope that the new management team can instil the required desire and passion into the team tonight traits which were sadly lacking on Saturday.

Because of the character of the person who told me this , I would say it's almost certainly true.

Probably showed the level of anger and frustration after the abysmal display.
If the rest of the board felt undermined by the decision nobody walked.

In Naysmiths last 15 games in charge, Queens scored 8 goals. Magic has had three games scoring 9 times. Thank God Mr negativity is away.
