Definitely not. He only had a day to get to know the players so it's understandable.

Can see why he would go with Fordyce and Brownlie being not familiar with the team - height and physical presence compared to Doyle and McGuire. Martin is a surprise though. Most thought he was away.

I think that most of us thought that Martin had played his last game for the club so his start was very unexpected. AJ was fairly upbeat in the post match interview emphasising that he only had the players for one training session and was disappointed that we had not scored more but said that Dobbie will be fit for Saturday so hopefully we can turn around this deficit. We have the layers but do the have the desire that is the real question but Magic also stated that they are playing for their future contracts so that, you would have thought, would be an incentive for those that want to continue playing for the club but that may be the ultimate question for some of them.

Spike that is the bottom line, - these players should be bustin' a gut for a new contract, - unless they think they can play elsewhere.

Well guys, there's just a wee problem and that is that you finished in the bottom two of the Championship, - so there may not be as many potential suitors as you might have expected.

Problem is more than half of them already have clubs.

The team is more than capable of beating Montrose. If we play like we did against Dunfermline we will have nothing to worry about.
