    Young Player of the Year

The PFA young POTY year is Ryan Kent. No harm to him but he wouldn't have got my vote.

Who else did you think was going to win it?

22 year old playing in an average multimillion pound team for one half of Glasgow up against a 19 year old playing and showing maturity way above his years for a provincial club no way was Turnbull or for even that matter Hastie ever going to be awarded the young player of the year. But as we “Well” fans saw and know Turnbull is way ahead of Kent.

Before Tierney's dominance the last winners came from an almost 50-50 split of Old Firm and the rest so it was hardly inevitable Kent would get it. I think it's the wrong call but all of Rangers would obviously vote for their own man whereas our vote would likely split between our pair. Beyond that Turnbull has hardly kicked a ball against Kilmarnock or Celtic this season so that's two squads where he'd get virtually nothing as well. No conspiracy, just circumstances.

As Mikey Stewart off of the telly would say "Turnbull is a country mile ahead of Kent. For skill, vision, engine, dig and goals".

Mind you if Sevco want to sign Kent they've been quoted £7m by Liverpool. Then Sevco fans could boast about him being a Sevco player until then all they will call him is loanee.

    How much Turnbull?

Even I've heard of him, and I haven't seen a Rangers game in donkeys years.
