Gary Hooper, nearly 200 career goals, 31 yrs old.
Would be ideal striker for us in league 1, wages may be out of reach for us, but worth an enquiry.

If he signs for someone else and he’s gone on a free transfer he will have to take a pay cut regardless of who signs him, he’s on 30k- 40k a week. Only a prem club will pay that for a free transfer player and he won’t get a prem club. My guess is he will go to a club like Blackburn or Wigan for half of what he’s on.

That being said I wouldn’t sign him longer than a year

Only just returned from a very lengthy injury so who's not to say he won't break down again.....too risky imo.

For the level we are going to be at Sadler or McFadzean would be ok, if they are still fit enough

The lad McConville at Accrington is a decent player and Stanley are always open to offers .

Jordan Clark at Stanley too , midfield player who was in our academy , 23 years old now but he's very good at this level .

George Dobson at Walsall , young very talented midfielder in the Stevie G mould , wouldn't mind him at Oakwell to be honest .

Tom Eaves , out of contract at Gillingham .

A bit of an oldie but gets 20 goals in league one every season , Ian Henderson at Rochdale .

Not had the greatest season at Plymouth but Brian Carey is well worth signing , possibly gone a little stale at Argyle and ready for a move .

Not trying to palm anybody off here just because we've gone up but Jordan Green who we brought in from Yeovil in January needs another season in League One , young kid in the Rahem Sterling mould , needs knocking in to shape but my word is he quick and I mean quick , a season long loan maybe .
