    3 Departures

Little bit surprised at the timing of this. I'd have thought we'd want everyone we have available for the play-offs in case of injuries or suspensions.

Feel sorry for Fyvie. I unfortunately think he’s finished. He was best player in the league prior to his injury v Livi last season and but for that and then Scott Fraser following suit I genuinely believe we’d have got up last year. Nesbit and Jimmy though have been a bit ‘meh’.

Thought Fyvie could have had something to offer for the play-offs, even if it was for a last 10 minute cameo. Was gutted when he took that injury and can only echo what has been said.

Gomis, thanks for the memories, but you should have looked at Floods end before signing.

Nesbitt, whats gone wrong? Had a hand in some important goals and didnt get much of a chance.

Now the rumour has been confirmed and it looks like it doesnt matter when business is done, who will be next? Scobbie, Edge, Murdoch, King, Aird, Barton, Loemba, Rabitsch, Toshney, im sure ive missed some, then some youngsters who have not quite made it like Matty Smith?

Scobbie, Toshney, Edjenguele, Murdoch and King are all out of contract so their departures will be announced on expiry.

Arid, Barton, Loemba, Rabitsch and M Smith all have a year left so they’ll need to agree terminations or find other clubs so will likely take a bit of time.

Feels like very bad timing unless there is something happened we don’t know about?
Haven’t seen any statements from departing players saying they wish the club all the best etc etc.
Fyvie was after all the club captain and must have an influence on the squad in the dressing room at least
Surely we don’t need this distraction at this time!

    Aussie,
Think it may be a case of the rumour made it out and the club acted as soon as they could. Lets face it, next week we will have put this behind us and be focused on the play-offs.

Aird and M Smith will be a shame to go but Aird doesn’t seem to be doing amazing on loan. If we have better coming in then good we can get rid of those we don’t want

With King and Aird on loan, and Nesbitt offski we seem a bit short of wide players if anything happens to McMullan (who will be a target for ICT or Ayr hammer throwers) or Pawlett.

I have to say this announcement really surprised me. Not that these 3 players were leaving but leaving just before the final games of the season are played.
I suppose you could argue it was the end of the scheduled league games and therefore the "end of the season" but one of the players was the off field club captain.
