    Customer respect

Just back from Spain, and was at a football ball match and an outdoor concert.
At both events, I was treated with respect as a customer.
I went to the Bob Dylan concert in Fuengirola on Saturday, the concert was so civilised, no jobs worthy stewards, greeted with a smile and a welcome when getting tickets scanned.
Escorted to our seats with a lovely senorita. No pushing at the bar or rip offs,4euros for a glass of wine and you got to keep the Bob Dylan souvenir glass as well.
No trouble, or anyone thrown out and the toilets were spotless even at the end of the night.
Same with the football match, asked about tickets from a rep, he phoned the ticket office, gave me a reference number.
I went to the ticket office and got my tickets within minutes, had a few drinks at the pop - up bars outside the ground.
Went into the stadium and was shown where my seat was.
At both events, everything was so civilised, I think we need to look at ourselves in this country, treat people with respect and you might get the same back.

So, you queued twice for your match ticket? Normal abroad I believe and, as you say, so much more civilised and respectful.

When you purchase tickets abroad there are normally more kiosks than required, normally go a day. Score with your passport so on day you walk right in, no the same half mile Q into a shop where the most unhelpful shop assistant waits
