He's right though, the set up of the playoffs is all about protecting the Premiership team. I don't think he's coming out with any earth shattering news here, everyone knows this.

Arguably 4th in a ten team league should not even have a shot at promotion, it's a bit unfair that 2nd doesn't automatically play 11th but that's the way it is and has been for 5 years now

I think us in our first year in the Championship are the perfect example of what he's on about. In that last game away to Hamilton we were running on empty.

On Saturday night at 5pm, hopefully 6pm, the winner of Ayr/ICT will have just 72 hours before they play us.
I hope Robbie doesn't ask the players to sit in. We should play high tempo from the first minute and look to capitalise on their fatigue.
