Thread: 12 team SPFL Championship on the way?

12 team SPFL Championship on the way?

Seems ok but there will be a LOT of matches and also this nugget:

"Introducing two colt teams from Premiership clubs."

How will they decide which two clubs get to have colt teams? Chunts...

Hopefully we won't need to worry too much. 🤔

What happens if one of these ahem "colt" teams wins the division? Scottish football is in bad nick already but having 2 Sevco or Celtic teams in one top division would be a complete pi55take

There is usually a rule with these type of things that means colt teams aren't allowed to play above a certain level.

That would make sense Terry. But unless the level and ages of players was carefully regulated the owners of the colt teams ie the rangers or tattie chasers could have a strong influence on who goes up. For me it's a can of worms that should never be opened.

'Two colts teams' should never be in the narrative.
That is just more of the same & poisons the whole idea.
The blazers at Hampden Towers just can't help themselves.
Bring on your Coves & East Kilbrides by all means.

This colt teams into the league pish was kicked out by the clubs recently was it not ?

The Glasgow FA keep trying though eh.

If they try and go ahead with this there will be a massive back lash I suspect. Hopefully.

Utter nonsense yet again from the muppets running our game.

    Agreed.

Will Dundee FC actually be a colt team by then?

Agreed, should never be allowed, would make a farce of a good league (as much as I want us out of it, it's very competitive)

Devalues the league. No way should colt teams be involved.

The fizzy pop was bad enough before games with Motherwell or St Mirren colts came along - not a midweek match that excites many fans
