prob is albertz over the last few seasons theres been loads of quality players released at ends of seasons but queens dont ,cant or wont go for them ,last season i could have signed queens up a team of released players that would have cantered this championship ,same will happen this year there will be loads of very good players waiting to be snapped up by clubs .

As you say, FB most released players tend to join clubs in the central belt.

I don't think many Partick Thistle fans were too disappointed that Storey had been released so hardly a ringing endorsement of his ability. Having said that if we do take the dreaded drop to League 1 we may be limited to the level of player we can attract and he may fall into the category that we are looking at. Hopefully Johnston and Clark have a good network of contacts as we are looking for a complete squad to sign.
