    Main to Aberdeen?

    According to the P&J....

Aberdeen have opened talks with Motherwell striker Curtis Main.

The 26 year-old is out of contract at Fir Park at the end of the month and Dons boss Derek McInnes is keen on adding the forward to his squad for next season.

Main has scored six goals in 37 appearances for the Steelmen this season and is considering whether to return to England following 18 months at Well but McInnes hopes he can convince the attacker to stay in Scottish football.

Bizarre move, certainly wouldn't be gutted if he goes.

Didn’t set the heather on fire goal scoring wise but IMO he chased a lot of lost causes and ended up putting the opposition under pressure. Certainly feel he would have definitely made a difference against St. Mirren on Saturday with his work rate. Just hope we don’t end up replacing him with a Connor Sammon or Ross McCormack type player.

If he goes he goes end of. I won't lose any sleep over it. He's never really bonded with our fans for some reason,.but good luck to him.

Agree a hard worker but this season been poor. IMO struggles to be an SPL player. Best of luck up north

No great loss. Had a decent start with us but faded. Never really did much this season apart from putting himself about a bit in games. If he goes which looks likely, hopefully we can pick someone up to replace him that can score goals.
