Why we need to win tomorrow

Hello fellow Villans, I have not passed by here for a bit ... but tomorrow is a very special day and well worthy of a comment or two ...

I (personally) have enjoyed the championship, real fans, real traditional football clubs and grounds ... not stadiums .. grounds ......... great awaydays and songs ... beating the noses (again) I could go on ...

    ........ BUT........

for financial reasons Aston Villa need to be in the premier league ... we are a famous club with a magnificent fanbase, Villa Park is many fans favoutite awayday and we are recognised worldwide.

Last year (after the abortive) playoff final we were in crisis, there was even talk of us going in to administration, we had a clueless manager who did his best but had no long term plan ... in fact he didnt have a short term plan ... and an owner whos enthusiasm and ego over exceeded his bank balance
This year is different ... we have a progressive manager and very rich owners, who given the chance in the prem will give it a go....Im sure ...

We currently have 3 or 4 premietship players ... Jack, Mcginn and Mings (loan) ... and possibly Steer ... and those 4 MUST turn up tomorrow and lead our club to victory ... and I beleive they will ... as sir Ron used to say all those years ago ... "as long as every one of the players priveledged to be given a claret and blue shirt tomorrow, sweat blood and guts and give 110% effort , then there is no reason why we cannot leave Wembley stadium as a premier league club ... again"

So fellow Villans ... be loud and proud and sing your hearts out, become our 12th man and demand victory ...

Derby County 1 Aston Villa 2 (Abraham, Hourihan)

    COME ON YOU LIONS !!!!!!

Welcome back iwuz. Can't wait until kick off.
Yes it's probably the biggest game since the Fulham game. Will be devastating if we loose.
