    Chris Huughton sacked

Very unfair of Brighton. They don't know what a good man they had.

I suppose depending on who they get in, they could be early candidates for next seasons drop.

Like most of our support, I like him a lot - a great bloke. But they have had a shocking second half of the season and so I can’t blame them for wanting a change.

He got them promoted and kept them up twice...

Never in their wildest dreams would they have expected 3 seasons in the premier league...

Well done Chris... time to get somebody else promoted!

Yes, well said. Some shrewd Fizzy owner will snap him up, give him support then thank his lucky stars.

Well if Rafa does not sign, could be a return for Chris!

Nah, Ashley got rid of Chris to bring in a "next level" manager! Hahaha

Didn't you mean a next level self indulgent, smug, supercilious flop.

I was quite surprised but in the same vein not - he was always my first choice to be sacked first next season, so to a degree it makes sense getting rid now and giving new manger the budget for the summer.

Still, a mad decision for me as he's done as well as Brighton could of hope recently.

So, does it make sense to get rid of him or is it a mad decision?

I feel very sad for him, he’s a talented manager and a lovely man. However, letting him finish the season with his head hanging high isn’t a bad way to go. I’m sure we’ll see him in the Premier League again.
