    Happy Conway Day!

Following several seasons of improvement United complete their second best ever season and their Centenary Year by lifting the Scottish Cup on a gloriously sunkist day at Hampden. Goals by Goodwillie and Craig Conway (whom those that know all about football couldn’t believe could win Scotland caps, for phuck sake), secure the silverware. Joyous celebrations followed while the significant minority in the City drew their curtains and duvets. For once, commerative t shirts and mugs were produced to commemorate the winning of an actual, bonafide trophy.

Some season, some team, romped to 3rd in a very strong league, were 5 pts off second with 4 games remaining before rotation kicked in and we started to prepare for the final

28500 arabs made Hampden look like it never had before or since as we won the big cup for the second time in our centenary season and become the most successful club the the city (how they laughed next door when the qf draw pitted them at home to Raith and us away to treble chasing Rangers who hadn't lost a cup tie since Walter Smith returned two years prior)

Will leave this video as the flag proudly hoisted in the city centre
