Decent player, but are we short of CB,s? And why would Burnley sell him?

Well we are really, If Coady gets injured, we don't have a ready made replacement unless we play some of the under 23s. Burnley are not the richest club, so they could use the money.

Another name that keeps appearing is Mexican International Edson Alvarez. The 21 year old defender is reported to be available at around £8 million. We seem to have a big following in Mexico after the success of Raul.

It’s not bad to have the ties to Mexico. They have a lot of good young players. Better shape than the US, I’m afraid.

Alvarez would be a good get. I’d like Chucky Lozano, but he’s probably gonna go to a bigger name club if he moves at all

Really good player Lozano. Not sure I would want a player with "chucky" on the back of his shirt running around for us though!

Helder Costa rumours again, as well as Leeds, Costa is being linked to Villa. We will see if anything comes of this over the coming weeks. The Edson Alvarez rumour isn't going away either.

Watching Alvarez right now vs Martinique. Bad competition, but he’s good in possession and looking to move the ball forward.

Playing a bit more up the field than he would for Wolves. I think he could fit in in the back 3 for us. He could playing play as a defensive midfielder as well, as that’s what he plays for Mexico.

The latest name being linked is Robert Skov, a striker from F C Copenhagen. He broke the Danish top flight scoring record last season scoring 32 goals in 48 matches. Spurs are also interested in his signature.

The latest name being linked is Brazil striker Carlos Vinicius. He is currently on loan at Monaco from Napoli. The 24 year old stands 6ft 3in tall and scored 8 from 14 in the early part of last season when on loan at Rio Ave. Also a Mendes client.
