Bournemouth have signed England Under-21 defender Lloyd Kelly from Bristol City for £13m.

The 20-year-old passed a medical on Saturday and has agreed terms on a long-term contract.

    Thanks, Jammy.

I like Eddie Howe...but I also think it's very much a case of the right man for the right club.

    Agreed.

He struggled at Burnley i seem to recall and as soon back at Bournemouth it was rosy for him again.

20yr old England under 21 defender though Mick, that will be where the price has gone up.

Plus with the new rules coming in all English players will have an even higher premium on them.

Actually he did okay at Burnley (didn't rip any trees up but still) and I suspect it was more of a question of him being more comfortable way down south.
