Well, it's a maybe loan with the usual "jam tomorrow" type statement on signings.

Always "nothing much will happen until next month" type disclaimers

Just sign them then tell us, instead of this "non-announcement" type routine which we've heard time after time, usually followed by the "tried hard but couldn't get it over the line" type statements

I would be quite happy not to be told that:
..a signing is imminent
.. nearly got one over the line
.. someone we have spoken to is really interested in coming
.. we have made an offer, it's now up to the player
.. two really good human beings identified
..we are closing in on two potentials
..we have been approached by the lad's agent

Would be quite happy to wait until I hear:
.. Four new quality players signed on the dotted line today

Or:
..Well, we couldn't do any more than we did
..There is still the January window to prepare for
..We have learned the lesson
.. This will never happen again

On the loan players we had last season, did they have an impact on games do you think?

I honestly don’t know what Towell brought to the game, L1 suits him better
I think Vyner was improving but too late
Raggett didn’t get a run of games
Only Rodak imo was worth having

Hope we pick wisely next season if we insist on loan players

Barker has said today that we are close to getting a decision out of one of them....which if course might be he's not bothered about staying.
He also said it will bring things to a close because some discussions have been going on for months.
