One of the reasons the BBC and The Guardian are obsessed with race and gender is because they are run by white, privately educated middle-class Oxbridge graduates and so they want to take the focus away from class. There are very few working-class people working at these organisations, same with the House of Commons, only 4% of MPs are from a working class background now.
Quite so. Last week on the Today programme Nick Robinson interviewed a female archaeologist about the recent discovery of an Anglo-Saxon tomb in Es*** which (in typical BBC style) he likened to the discovery of Tutenkhamen's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. He then made the astonishing (PC) observation: "When those men and women archaeologists dug the tomb of Tutankhamen..." Wtf!!!!!!!!! The only woman associated with Carter's expedition was Lady Evelyn Leonora Almina Herbert and her sole contribution was to stick her head through a hole in the door and exclaim; "Oooh..." The frigging BBC can't help it.
Was that an early 'glory hole'?
First time in 20 years in the US the FA Cup Final is not in TV here. Will have to resort to watching a man's game with Exeter v Northampton rugby.
Don't think the League Cup Final was live on TV until the 70s. Swindon's win over Arsenal certainly wasn't.

Another lecture on racism.
BBC are using the FA Cup to propagandise.
Watford to win 2-1 you heard it here first 😊
Abide with me spoilt again and the National anthem sung by two birds in fairy costumes who've clearly been told to hurry the feck up!
Where’s the fans’ FA Cup gone?
Stories about how fans got there, what suits the team will wear, replica FA Cups made out of bacofoil, what the team had for breakfast.
Instead I get a lecture about racism, womens’ football and footballers mental health.
What the feck is happening here?
Well I'm going to stick my neck out and say at least we were dumped out by the eventual winners and probably looked equally as inept against them as many of their other opponents
