    Brentford raya links

Brentford have made inquiries of David raya
Not sure how I feel about this as he could potentially be very good but appears to have hit a stumbling block.
3.5 million and not a penny less.

Makes sense if we are getting in Hart. Raya knows he won't play at all of he stays. They look they are going to lose their keeper who is highly rated.

I thought Mowbray had denied the Hart reports, rumours are we're interested in Carson.
I'd like to keep Raya but not in the first team so it's in his interests to move.
We need someone who can cope with crosses.

And no bids received or any contact made.
    Welcome to silly season.

To be fair, all that was reported is Brentford have shown interest in Raya, no bids had been received.
They probably just asked about his availability. We know we have been doing the same (without putting a bid in) as TM said we had spoken to several agents and clubs already, and have been quoted astronomical prices.

We have to slap a huge fee on both Dack and Lenihan before we get robbed.

    Absolutely
    Minimum 15 million each
These days even the very average players are commanding those sort of fees.
Is it right? No but we have to do as the Romans do otherwise we will end up drifting away.

    Silly season indeed.
I remember joining BRFCS to keep track of transfer speculation, big mistake, complete nonsense on there.
I like the fact that Mowbray et al can keep things under wraps until an official announcement is made.
