    Christian Doidge

Just followed him up the M1 in his black and yellow Stag with his personal plate, got off at Worksop turnoff, maybe house hunting ???.

I cant say I was over impressed with his performance in play offs but he can score in league 2... Thoughts???

He certainly has a great attitude imo. Being shat on by Bolton in the way that he was and just fitting back into the squad at Forest Green was admirable.

I think he would suit any club in league 1 and I dare say he will want a bit of Bolton if he gets a chance to play against them. He would be on my list with Tom eaves

    48 goals from 99 league 2 games.
1 goal In 17 games for Bolton
Should be a 12-15 goal machine in league 1.

How much would you expect to pay for Doidge, bearing in mind Bolton were prepared to pay 1M before the deal dropped through ?

Id say a million would have been about right but being as he is older now and has spent a lot of time on bench and had issues with Bolton Id say his value has dropped to 600k

Like I said I would have paid more a year ago but not now

So we sign him and he’s immediately sidelined with bum splinters

When you say that you would have paid more a year ago, does that mean if you had been Warne, or does it mean you personally out of your Nat West Piggy bank account.

Good player and a solid Pro. Would we get any change from 1,000,000 dont think so. I reckon 1,250,00 is his value right now but if we were willing to spend that money I'd deffo be happy if he came here.

when bolton agreed a fee he had 2 year on his contract. now its down to a year and fg cant afford to loose him for nuffing 700k with a 25% sell on clause would be plenty imo

Even then they would be very lucky to get him - it would be a Jammy Doidger

Whoever does buy him from Forest Green will need to Transfer the funds via a low energy computer and the player will need to be collected in a battery powered taxi

    It's all in the name

Yeah, but think of all of that methane generated from the vegan meals.
