    Dwight Gayle

Dwight Gayle definitely not signing for us next season according to Dowling. On a PL contract and we cannot afford to pay those wages in the Championship. Sign of things to come but realistic after what has happened to Blues and Bolton.

And with J-Rod likely to leave aswell where the hell and we going to find 50 goals next season without spending a few quid?? 60-70 goals if you count what Barnes gave to us.

I assume Dawson will go, who is always likely from a set piece?
    Phillips?
    Gibbs?

I dread the thought of our starting 11 first game of next season

We should put keeping Gayle as our number one priority whatever the cost and save money in other areas.

I should not be surprised at any decision that is made. Still I feel so very disappointed. Securing Dwight Gayle should have been the number one priority and a superhuman effort should have been made. There are going to be a lot of very frustrated and very very angry people if he ends up at another Championship club - and he will.

After the mess Williams and co left us in. Jenkins and Dowling have got to pick up the pieces. Don't like it, but it's good housekeeping.

Very Negative Message from our Club
So we have now announced to all of our competitors that we will not compete for the signature of Gayle.
The logic is that because he commands a premier league salary in our case next season we are out of the running.

Therefore anyone out there who wants to a sign 20 plus goal forward just needs to stump up the cash.

Most of our competitors will see this as a non brainer. Pay the money , get the goals and make savings elsewhere. After all given the choice of having either a large squad consisting of out of contract geriatrics and injury prone players to make the number up. OR opting for quality rather than quantity

I could perhaps see the logic if we had no parachute payments or had really pushed the boat out last year.
I don’t normally criticise our club for finances as we always need to be mindful of the rules and ensure we are solvent BUT this is such a negative statement. The flag above the Hawthorns has now been changed to a white one!

HRK needs to find a pub team - he’s absolute ****e!

If we can’t afford Gayle then this answers the question why Shan was put in charge on peanuts which most likely cost us promotion!

Trust us they say!!! I would rather trust ISIS then those knob heads who run our club!

Mid table at best next year!! HRK - I would actually rather watch non league than seeing this useless prick
