    Getting money out of China

I was reading in the press that there are still severe restrictions in permitting funds from China to UK. If this is the case and the owner is indeed prepared and willing to fund the club, then there should be a formal statement from the board.
    Maybe convenient...maybe not?

We may well see a scenario whereby Lai cashes in on the remaining players of value and the last two years of parachute payments to recoup his £175m whilst hiding in China.

We could be looking at 3-4 terrible years of decline before things can start to get better.

He won’t go until that £175m has been recouped in my opinion.

I'd rather our club be self funding than being in debt. This bubble will burst soon.
