In hindsight seems the numbers should have been capped today.

Point made in the statement is that with electronic card next season supporters can get loyalty points etc and should all be a lot more sophisticated.

Hopefully next big queue will be for cup finals when we are in prem from next season 🤞🤞🤞

**** that. Would rather watch it in the boozer with a group of mates & be able to celebrate/shout properly than having to sit on my hands surrounded by a bunch of Paisley minks.

As long as those buying large numbers of tickets had the supporting vouchers, I can't see the problem. In fact they probably did United a favour as - if sales had been limited to 1 ticket per person per voucher - all that would've done is increase the length of the queue and, consequently, the number of dissatisfied supporters that had made the effort to stand in the queue only to end up without a ticket.

If the SPLF were to make the final a one-legged affair in a neutral venue, the clubs could agree a suitable venue (capacity-wise) when it is established what teams are involved, and the likely demand for tickets.

No matter what United did here, with such limited availability, there were always going to be a significant number of arabs disappointed with missing out on a match ticket.

I have a problem with most fans who will be at the match making almost no effort to get a ticket meantime folk who queued overnight get nothing.

I guess if you didn't make any effort you won't see the problem here but, thankfully, Mal does.

Not sure how genuine the ticket “resales” are that have been showing on social media already but hope the club is watching and take action to stop the individuals concerned ever getting a ticket again to profit from like this.

Black ball the chancers for the greater good.

If so called fans are selling tickets at a mark up its a disgrace and needs stamped on big time. Not what our club is about.

Unusual silence on this subject over the two main Utd forums. I guess most fans know it was unfair but those who didn't bother queueing and yet still got tickets are keeping quiet on the matter, knowing fine well the 200 odd in the queue were seriously hard done by. Like you say, at least Mal has recognised this and seems determined for it not to happen again.
