Keogh will be 33 in August. Curtis Davies is 34. We don't need another 33 year old, especially not in the PL.

Cheapshot, p*ss poor journalism. That's all this is, I hope.

He's a better player than Keogh and Davies though! I'd have him over any of them two.

You’re assuming Keogh and Davies will be wanted if we make the Prem, MA. I’m an admirer of them both at Championship level and I think Keogh has an absolutely brilliant attitude - love him to get the winner at Wembley - but whether they’re Premiership quality, especially with a combined age of 78, I’m not so sure.

I'd snap him up. Quality defender and leader. No chance of it happening though!

Keogh did well enough against 3 PL sides in Cup competitions this season to warrant at least starting a PL season if we get there IMO.

I am less enthusiastic about Curtis Davies' chances should we go up. We all saw how long it took Forsyth, Hughes and Bryson to get back, over and above the recovery and rehab..... best part of a season on top of a season out.

Taking that as the starting position that gives us Keogh in and Davies out of a PL picture. Do we really want another 33 year old in central defence whoever that turned out to be? Cahill has, to me, been a shadow of his former self for 2 seasons now and only played 9 games this season.

He's a Derbyshire lad but I don't think he is what we need for an eventual PL campaign.
