Is this it, do we have lift-off ?

Just been rummaging through some of Sean's recent statements, like you do, and I noticed a significant difference on previous summers. He has always said before that we had to be re-active in the transfer market, which meant in effect that we would be picking up what was left when everyone else had filled their boots with the best players.

But not this time, Sean has clearly said that this time we will be pro-active, which must mean identifying the players we want and then going out and getting them signed up before anyone else does. At least that's what I assume he means. Am I being naive, or is this the summer we fling open the doors of the DP store and reach for the stars ?

Just pointing out what he said Alfy, he's always told it like is before, this time he says it's going to be different. I believe Sean to be a man of his word, so I'm expecting it to be different.

Problem is sinkov, our infamously prudent Chairman has to sign off on the cheque.

Your optimism might be somewhat diminished sinkov by the fact we are looking to take Everton's third choice right back on loan for the whole of next season?

But there you are BT, we're targetting players already and nowhere near the end of May yet. Normally we don't even start checking values on Transfermarket before the first week of July. Pro-active or what !! Nowt wrong with Kenny anyway, be a good signing.

Be interesting to know who,on here,is a glass half full person and who is a half empty person.

Daniel James looks nailed on for Old Trafford unfortunately but hey ho it's not the end of May yet.
