So if that's right, Sean saying we're going to be pro-active in the market was all bollox. If we can sell V and W, we can buy R and E, nothing has canged, businees as uusual, just another day at the office for our recruitment team.

Not really Sinkov. Unless we offloaded V and W and just bought R and E we would end up with six or seven strikers. We can only register 25 (I think) players in total so if we wish to upgrade our squad then we need to get rid of some.

If you wanted a new house and car then you would have to find a buyer for your existing ones...unless you were stinking rich....which Burnley are not by Prem standards.

We have £35million quid to spend so we don't need to sell to buy, but Wells and Vydra would be totally not needed. IF we can get our money back on these two duck eggs I would be more than happy.

But we can only base our thoughts on what she actually said and did.

Like I say, she was a main architect of the single market, the euro and was also hinting at the merits of an EU army whilst maintaining NATO.

I very much doubt that she would have supported a referendum in the first place so it is a moot point on how she would have reacted after one.
From memory 59 she had a complete turn around when she realised what they were doing.
Check out Thatcher Europe No No No.

She’d have had that lot in Brussels for breakfast.

It wasn't me that said we were going to be pro-active 59, it was Sean. If we really were pro-active we'd have deals lined up for shipping out Wells and Vydra already, instead it seems we can't move unless someone comes in for them. Business as usual then, waiting for others to make the first move.

The obvious move for me would be to offer Wells to Birmingham in P/X plus £15 million for Evans and get Vydra shipped off to the Hawthorns with a few bob to get him off the books and bring back Jay Rod and Dawson in the same taxi. Simples!

Jonjoe Kenny is moving to Bundesliga side Schalke on a season-long loan for the 2019-20 campaign
