The Notlobs in the pub were shaking their heads in amazement, they are boracic, skint, bankrupt and almost out of business, we have God knows how much in the Dry Powder Room and we are scooping up BWFC out of contract Development Squad players. Who's the daftest?

Back in the summer of 67 of course Bolton were releasing on a free a youngster who they told wouldn’t make the grade. Who was that then? Martin Dobson. Just sayin’.

Just had an update on Jay, same as last summer, he's happy to sign for us, but it's out of his hands, all he can do is sit there and wait for the phone to ring, but it won't unless we agree a deal with WBA.

It's the agents involved on all sides that are just trying to get more money for themselves ---as usual.

How many more times will we read this before the window closes? "Burnley are interested in a deal for Brentford striker Neal Maupay, but the Clarets remain unlikely to meet the asking price set by the Championship club, according to Sky Sports."

Southampton are set to beat Sheffield United and Burnley to the £14m signing of 22-year-old English striker Che Adams from Brum

Burnley are not interested in signing Belgian full-back Boli Mbombo from Rapid Vienna, despite speculation linking the 23-year-old with a move to Turf Moor

2 more to strike off the list.
