Not sure if that means they don't have the right to appeal to the Nat. League though

1959/60 was the only season we played Gateshead in the league. It was the year we were promoted from Division 4. After drawing 0-0 at their ground we beat them ten days later, 4-0 at Meadow Lane.
Strangely, I remember this game as Bob Forrest scored a hat-trick, which didn’t happen too often. Alan Withers scored our other goal.
The previous home game we’d played Bradford Park Avenue, another team long gone from the Football League.
