Interesting - the league haven't taken action, other clubs don't support him, but he's taking it into his own hands?

Whilst I think if rules had been broken, the authorities would have acted, I think Boro have a point. The door should maybe be bolted for the future as it does smell a little.

Geoff not sure it does smell In any business when you require money one of your first options is to sell some of your assets In the case of a football club ( It's only a business) these would be your players, or your ground. Incidentally in the FL nine clubs owners have bought their clubs grounds If we hadn't beaten WBA pretty sure Boro wouldn't be crying like they are

...and of course the timing is purely coincidental.

Coincidentally, this happens in the very week that the BBC has spent a lot of time, effort, money and brodcasting hours boosting Middlesbrough's reputation after it was voted "worst town in England" or "worst place to grow up...." in a survey last year. It seems you can paint a turd, you can even smother it with perfume but its true character still rises to the surface.

He's spunked all their parachute payments on absolute dross and is now throwing a temper tantrum

    Britt Assombalonga - £15m
    Aden Flint - £7m
    George Saville - £8m
    Paddy McNair - £5m
    Rudy Gestede - £6m
    Ashley Fletcher - £6.5m
    Stewart Downing - £7m
    Johnny Howson - £6m
    Martin Braithwaite - £9m

Not to mention the wages on those plus John Obi Kinoli and Tony Pulis

F*** off, Gibson, you absolute muppet

Go and shave that stupid hair piece off as well

Don't forget the spending spree in the january transfer window whilst in the Prem

They spent a good wad on the likes of Patrick Bamford. He's in no position to throw stones that bloke trust me, he's done his conkers and now wants the EFL to give them him back.

If we stay in this league then at least we get to play the likes of Leeds and Boro next season

Under what grounds is he suing us though, the EFL are happy with what we did so what's he clutching at, should he fail would or could it be construed as disrepute?

    Good question Stenson.

    1. if it doesn't, it should
    2. Gibson is alleging that Morris has broken the English Football League’s profitability and sustainability rules and Middlesbrough officials contacted Derby on Friday to inform them of their stance.

Boro are understood to be furious that Derby reported a £14.6m profit in their 2017/18 accounts, after Morris sold the club’s Pride Park stadium and then leased it back. Gibson believes that Morris has flouted the rules.

Derby are adamant they have been fully compliant, and the timing of Middlesbrough’s shock move has surprised the club ahead of their play-off final against Aston Villa on Monday.
    3. IMO no more than toys out of pram situation. He gambled big time and missed out on the playoffs. Hence the mardy reaction.

On another subject, that rev 72 is a dimwit isnt he?
