My prediction is a 3-1 win at Pittodrie followed by a 3-1 defeat in Budapest.

Don't let Jim Forrest take a penalty.

As the team came off the plane at Dyce Airport, the first team ever to lose on penalties.
A very young donsdaft, waiting for autographs, said to the man who had missed the historic spot kick
" Never mind Jim, onybody can miss a penalty "

He didn't reply, "Striker thumps 11 year old" wouldn't have looked good in the P&J in the morning.

.......and that's all before it starts.

Does that mean our first game is on 11th July?

I go offshore on the day of our first game. I wonder if we will still be in when i get back a month later

Hopefully we get to the qualifying round and get Cliftonville away 1st leg. Im in NI for a holiday before jnr starts Primary one. Ideal scenario.

I can be arsed when it comes to Europe although we'll probably be punted in the first week of August as per usual.

A Northern European team for the 1st Round will do nicely to get our limbs loose before the more tricker sides begin to enter in the later rounds.

I think it's much better entering in the 1st Round than like last year when we got a decent team and were punted straight away.

Having said that, with the names being mentioned as signings for next season, we might struggle to beat the likes of Connahs Quay...

Given the co-efficients, the odds on us drawing Cliftonville after QR2 are minuscule.

We should reach QR3 where we would meets the likes of:-

    Sporting Braga Por 31.000 .
    Legia Warsaw * Pol 24.500 .
    Eintracht Frankfurt ** Ger 24.000
    FCSB * Rom 23.000
    Feyenoord Ned 22.000
    Espanyol ** Esp 20.713
    Malmö FF * Swe 20.000
    Partizan Belgrade ** Srb 18.000
    Standard Liège Bel 17.500
    Wolverhampton Wanderers**Eng 17.092
    EL2 Rus 16.000 - 48.000
    EL3 ** (Torino)Ita 14.945 - 81.000 (Roma)
    AEK Athens Gre 14.000
    FC Midtjylland Den 14.000
    Molde FK * Nor 13.500
    NK Rijeka Cro 13.500
    Apollon Limassol * Cyp 12.000
    Hapoel Beer-Sheva * Isr 12.000
    RC Strasbourg ** Fra 11.699
    Zorya Luhansk (**) Ukr 11.500
    AZ Alkmaar ** Ned 10.500
    Arsenal Tula ** Rus 10.109

When we get to QR3, I wouldn’t mind drawing the toughest team (Roma) in the round
