I perhaps owe the ticket office a wee apology, as in reply to my virtual begging letter of an email, pleading to be considered for a brief, I received a reply this morning telling me my ticket request had already been received, and I’d be getting a ticket. So maybe 3(40) is the magic number right enough? Still thought I would’ve been informed of my qualification without having to email t find out, but beggars can’t be choosers and I’m just happy to have one. Still don’t think it makes it right, and will in all likelihood offer mine to my (in my opinion) better qualified travelling companion, if he fails with his application.
