Is it a coincidence that all of these rumours begin

regularly almost without fail at the beginning of the transfer widow.

I'm talking of course about Rafa staying with us and the old chestnut about the sale of the club.

Is it a ploy to attempt to take our minds off how much Ashley is going to release in investment to improve our status rather than bleed the club of that investment finance to the benefit of Mash Holdings Savings Club.

And before someone pipes up and says out going transfer funds will supply enough then, if you are selling players and want to buy better to improve the squad then that requires by all common sense a steady net spend over several transfer windows.

No and i think at this stage most of us are cynical enough/know what the fat **** is like to not believe it but just to hope.

However, this seems to have come from nowhere and it does tie in with other rumours floating around.

It's probably ******* but oh god, the hope.
