Aye...Luke Edwards saying the same about funds.

Maybe it's just not as advanced as we'd all like as opposed to 'it's not happening'?

Does anyone else not find it odd that it's the same line everytime a supposed takeover is happening. No proof of funds.
How does everyone all of a sudden know what is going on when the club is saying nothing. All of a sudden we have to believe they are singing like canaries and telling every local journalist the ins and outs of a deal.
I will sit and wait rather than worry. If it happens it happens.

The lack of funds thing baffles me
If they've agreed a price surely Ashley has checked they have funds

Exactly Kev.If the club are supposedly saying no proof of funds, but that statement was put out saying a deal was agreed earlier. Why didn't the club say it wasn't agreed if they are saying no proof of funds all of a sudden.
We know Ashley is a liar,he did say proof of funds 1st before any negotiations in future after the Kenyon shambles. He will look more foolish than ever if this turns out the same way, given that he let it get this far without shooting it down
